here’s a delicious recipe for homemade granola that I’ve made a couple times. Feel free to eat is as cereal in the morning or over yogurt. Even pack it in a ziploc for a snack during the day! It’s healthy, sweet and yum!
3 c old fashion oats
1/2 c chopped unsalted walnuts, almonds
1/2 c maple syrup
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 raisins or dried cherries (optional)
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a mixing bowl combine all ingredients. Spread into a baking sheet and cook for 30 minutes, checking it periodically. Let cool completely and store in an airtight container.
